Application:

Paraformaldehyde is mainly used as a raw material for the production of urea-formaldehyde, phenolic, and melamine resins. It also serves as an intermediate in the manufacture of agrochemicals (herbicides, fungicides, insecticides) and pharmaceuticals (vitamins, disinfectants, APIs). In addition, it is applied as a disinfectant and preservative, and finds further use in coatings, rubber, paper, and foundry industries.
